wheel-of-sharp-weaponsThe Wheel of Sharp Weapons, composed by the great Indian yogi Dharmarakshita more than a thousand years ago, is among the most esteemed of the so-called mind training teachings. Mind training is a special genre of teaching that deals with with employing techniques for transforming problems into happiness. Dharmarakshita’s classic, explains the workings of karma, the benefits of altruism, and the means to cut through our true enemies: self-grasping and self-cherishing.

About the Teacher

jampa ignyen copyJampa is one of our resident teachers. He trained as a monk in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition for 20 years and completed his studies at Sera Je Monastic University in 1995. He is an adjunct research fellow at the School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies, at Monash University; works as a translator for Canada’s Institute of Tibetan Classics, and holds a PhD in Asian Studies.
