Jampa leads this Sunday morning meditation group. Each week he guides participants in meditation on foundational Buddhist topics, currently focussing on bodhicitta and how to cultivate compassion in daily life. Join anytime for meditation and discussion on this and other powerful techniques for training the mind and making life more meaningful.

Dates & time: Sundays 6, 13, 20, 27 August; 3, 10, 17, 24 September; 8, 15, 22, 29 October; 5, 12, 19, 26 November; 3, 10 December 10-11.30am.

Cost: $15/$13 VI Members

Note: No Sunday Dharma on 1 October – holiday weekend

About the Teacher

jampa ignyen copyJampa is one of our resident teachers. He trained as a monk in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition for 20 years and completed his studies at Sera Je Monastic University in 1995. He is an adjunct research fellow at the School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies, at Monash University; works as a translator for Canada’s Institute of Tibetan Classics, and holds a PhD in Asian Studies.

Please note that all Dharma teachings are freely offered. Your contribution helps to pay for the Centre's facilities. All of our courses include 2 free attendance places for anyone struggling financially. Please feel comfortable in emailing us with your request.
