About the Teaching
The Buddha has stated that the practice of mindfulness of body brings great fruit and great benefit. By returning our attention to our body, we heal the connection between mind and body. This helps us to release unnecessary physical stress reactions and allow our body to regain its malleability and pliancy. This in turn leads to the arising of pleasant feelings of rapture and contentment, which helps to calm and settle our mental stress reactions. Mindfulness of body can lead to deeper states of calmness and insight. In this workshop we will explore the different ways we can apply mindfulness to our body and derive the benefits from such a practice.
This workshop features several sessions of guided meditations with explanations and time for Q&A or discussion. All are welcome; no prerequisite needed.
