About the Teaching
Meditation does not have to be a struggle against what we find within. Instead we can cultivate a kind of spacious awareness, where we find plenty of space within our mind for the different experiences and reactions to arise, abide and fade away. By learning through this workshop how to shift our attention into this “aware space,” we can discover a range of meditative experiences that does not depend on fighting or resisting what is happening in this moment. The skill of shifting into our aware space is the basis for developing calm-abiding and special insight in relation to the mind itself.
This workshop features several sessions of guided meditations with explanations and time for Q&A or discussion. All are welcome; no prerequisite needed.
