A common objective for beginning meditators is to somehow manage their thoughts and maybe even to stop thinking at will. Thoughts are, therefore, seen as troublesome, bothering or even menacing at times. Alternatively, we can develop a different attitude towards our thinking habits and learn to transform our so-called “negative” thinking into something that is both enlightening and beneficial–as a doorway to a deeper understanding of ourselves and our habits.
