Join renowned thangka painter Andy Weber for VI’s annual three day Tibetan Art Workshop. Andy spent seven years living and studying the iconographical art of Tibetan Buddhism under the guidance of accomplished masters in India and Nepal. With over 35 years experience, his is unique style of authentic images for visualization are highly respected by Buddhist practitioners of all Tibetan traditions. His thangka paintings can be seen in Buddhist centres and temples throughout the world including the Potala Palace in Lhasa and his images have become well known and popular through numerous publications.
Attendance at Friday evenings introductory talk (Public Talk: An Introductory Talk on Yellow Tara: The Tara of Prosperity and Wealth) is compulsory for participation in this workshop.
Date & Time: Saturday 6th – Monday 8th October 10:00am – 5:00pm
Cost: $280 / $250 for Friday’s public talk and 3-day workshop
