About the Teaching
The R.A.I.N. method for cultivating mindfulness is a highly effective approach to enhance our natural mindful awareness through the four steps of recognition, acknowledgement, inquiry and nurture. Skillfully applying these four steps to our changing circumstances, we discover ways of relating to our past experiences, habits and conditionings that may have caused us suffering. We can learn to accept the facts for what they are and find new, creative ways to respond to them without being limited by old patterns of reactivity. This workshop features several sessions of guided meditations with explanations and time for Q&A or discussion. All are welcome; no prerequisite needed.
