About the Teaching
Emotions are our responses to the happenings in our life. Often, they come across as irrational and can be overwhelming at times. Meditation provides us with a means to work skilfully with our emotions, to learn how we are responding physically and mentally, to investigate how helpful and harmful our emotional habits are, and to diminish the influence of those habits that are contributing to our suffering. In this way, we no longer need to fear our strong emotions and, instead, can relate to them as our allies in our search for peace and happiness.
All are welcome; no prerequisite needed.
