Introduction to Tantra: The Transformation of Desire

About the Teaching

This course will introduce the key elements of Buddhist tantric practice: its underlying principles, the supporting conditions, and the practical means to transform our attitudes toward pleasure and desire. Contrary to popular beliefs that tantra is the pursuit of greater sensual pleasures, the practice of Buddhist Tantra enhances wisdom and compassion, which help us to let go of our attachment to sensual pleasure and find true contentment in genuine happiness.

Each session will feature explanation, guided meditations and time for Q&A.

All are welcome; no prerequisite needed.
