About the Course
What is the Path we are learning about putting into practice? It is the Path to Enlightenment – In Tibetan it’s known as the “Lam Rim” – the “road map” if you like, out of suffering and dissatisfaction. It’s what transforms the “jig-saw” of all the various sutra teachings we’ve heard here and there, into a clear, complete, picture.
To quote His Holiness The Dalai Lama
“It is very important to have an overall understanding of the basic framework of the Buddhist Path.”
Shakyamuni Buddha said:
“Our life is shaped by our mind; we become what we think. Suffering follows an evil thought as the wheels of a cart follow the oxen that draws it. Our life is shaped by our mind; we become what we think. Joy follows a pure thought like a shadow that never leaves.”
Every session will include time for Q and A and some meditation. It’s VERY important to always feel comfortable about asking questions, even if you feel that they are very basic. See you on Zoom.
