Located in historic Victoria Square, in Sydney’s vibrant inner West, Vajrayana Institute is an ideal place to stay while attending one of the Institute’s courses or retreats or enjoying your own quiet retreat. 

There is a communal kitchen, access to the gompa, a study area and a Buddhist library with thousands of titles. All teachings, guided meditations, classes and special events at the centre are free and included.

As Vajrayana Institute is a Buddhist teaching centre, you will be expected to respect that you will be living as a lay practitioner in a semi-monastic environment. 

VI is on a tranquil, leafy street in Ashfield. It is close to major public transport, being just a 15 minute walk to both, Ashfield and Summer Hill train stations and a 1 minute walk to bus routes to the City.
