The development of meditative absorption has been described by the Buddha as “a pleasant abiding in this life.” Unlike our usual associations with meditation as something difficult, frustrating and disappointing, we can transform the whole experience of learning to meditate into an interesting and exciting journey of discovery by adopting a few simple pointers to adjust our attitude, expectation and techniques. We will test out such pointers in this workshop to allow our body and mind to enter and abide in meditation pleasantly and peacefully. This workshop features several sessions of guided meditations with explanations and time for Q&A or discussion. All are welcome; no prerequisite needed.
These workshops will be presented in-person and online via Zoom. All welcome
